Mild Temperatures (And Sunny Skies) on Tap This Week At the Jersey Shore

Above-average temperatures are expected this week in the Shore area, the National Weather Service predicted.

After a weekend of rollercoaster-worthy weather changes – 30-degree temperature swings and rain turning to snow at the last minute – things will warm up beginning Monday, and continue for the rest of the week.

According to the NWS forecast, Monday will be sunny with a high of 56 degrees. It only gets warmer Tuesday, with skies forecast to be ostly sunny, with a high near 62. Calm wind becoming south around 5 m.p.h. will flutter by in the afternoon.

Some patchy fog will begin the day Wednesday in the early morning, then move to a transition to sunny skies with a high of 59 degrees. Showers may roll through Thursday, but the sun will return Friday, with highs 58 and 63 degrees, respectively.
