A Sunset Stunner Tuesday Will Give Way to 1-2 Inches of Rain Mid-Week (Video/Forecast)

Mild temperatures continued to dominate Tuesday in the Shore area, with some high clouds providing the optimal backdrop for a sunset on Barnegat Bay that more resembled mid-July than mid-March. First, however, New Jerseyans have to get through mid-week, which is forecast to be rainy and cooler, according to the National Weather Service.

The video of Tuesday night’s sunset appears above (toggle for 4K). A rainfall forecast map appears below the forecast.
