Jiffy Lube, the nationwide chain of automotive oil change shops, has proposed to construct a new store in a Toms River Township shopping plaza.
The company has proposed the location to be built on a commercial pad site located within the Indian Head Shopping Center site, located at 1256 Indian Head Road. The plan calls for the construction of a 3,064 square foot automotive shop on an approximately 24,132 square foot pad site. The company is required to obtain a few minor variances, mainly having to do with signage.
The planning board will consider the application at its Dec. 1 meeting, which begins at 6 p.m. at the township municipal complex on Washington Street.
