Two lucky Ocean County residents are hundreds of thousands of dollars richer following the holiday weekend, with state lottery officials announcing the location of two large jackpots that match tickets sold locally.
The largest, worth $280,339, matched all five numbers drawn, splitting the $841,017 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Friday, July 2, drawing. The winning numbers were: 02, 09, 11, 23, and 27 and the XTRA number was: 02. The ticket was purchased at Singin, 1215 Lakewood Road (Route 9), Toms River.
The second award matched all five numbers drawn, winning the $100,000 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Saturday, July 3, drawing. The winning numbers were: 11, 15, 16, 38, and 42 and the XTRA number was: 05. The ticket was purchase at Shop Rite of Manchester, 1001 Route 70 West, Manchester.
