Toms River officials said Friday that Washington Street would be closed between 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. between Hooper Avenue and Main Street.
“Please plan an alternate route,” a statement from the township said.
The street is being closed to accommodate the Toms River High School South senior prom, which is being held outdoors.
