The Toms River Police Department will be at Mancini Hall at the Ocean County Library this Saturday collecting unused prescription medications, the township announced today.

“Unused expired and unwanted medicines left in home cabinets are at risk for abuse, misuse, and theft,” the statement said.

The drop-off event will be held Saturday, April 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mancini Hall, located near the entrance to the county library’s Toms River branch.
