Toms River officials have announced the schedule for public works pickups during the upcoming holiday week.
The department will be closed for Christmas Day, Friday, Dec. 25, 2020, and for New Year’s Day, Friday, Jan. 1, 2021. There will be no sanitation and recycling collections and the Recycling Convenience Center will be closed.
Friday’s sanitation will be picked up on Saturday for each of these two holidays.
Bulk collections and extra recycling that are normally scheduled for Friday will be picked up on Thursday, Dec. 24, 2020.
The Recycling Convenience Center will be open on Saturday, Dec. 26, 2020 and January 2, 2021, from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
