Shore Forecast: Sunny Week Ahead, But Lows Could Drop Into the 20s

After a line of storms moved through the region Sunday night, followed by hours of gusty winds, sun will return Monday despite breezy conditions remaining in place. But the mild temperatures of last week will be solidly in the rear-view mirror.

According to the National Weather Service, Monday will be sunny, with a high near 52, though Breezy with a west wind 15 to 20 mph, gusting to 30 m.p.h. The overnight, low will dip to 37 degrees overnight before a mostly sunny Tuesday (with a chance of an isolated shower). The overnight low between Tuesday and Wednesday will drop below freezing to 31 degrees before another sunny – but chilly – day on Wednesday with a high of 42.



The coldest weather of the week will arrive overnight between Wednesday and Thursday, when the low will reach a chilling 28-degrees. The sun will return Thursday, but temperatures will remain low, with a high of just 49.

Temperatures are expected to become more seasonable toward the end of the week, the NWS forecast said. Friday will see a return to a 60-degree high, along with abundant sunshine, while the same weather is predicted to stick around into the weekend.
