Police Looking for Lost Toms River Alzheimer’s Patient

State troopers and Toms River police are searching jointly for a woman suffering with Alzheimer’s disease who is missing in the township.

Police are currently looking for Marilyn Blazer, an 80-year-old woman who left her home at about 7:30 a.m. Saturday morning in the Lake Ridge section of town.

She is 5’ 7”, weighs 120-pounds, with blue eyes and grey hair. She was last seen wearing blue pants, sneakers and a white jacket.  She may have walked north on Route 9. Police are currently seeking any businesses along Route 9 that may have video of her.

Because she is memory-impaired, police believe she may try to seek transport for either Old Bridge or Union City, both places where she used to live.
