Toms River police were investigating a bank robbery that occurred in the township Thursday afternoon.
Details were sketchy, but police said they were on the scene of the robbery at First Financial Bank on the corner of Route 9 and Route 571.
Police are looking for a male wearing heavy makeup, a blonde wig, grey sweatpants, a dark jacket and sneakers.
“The investigation is on-going at this time, please use caution in the area,” police said. No photos have yet been released.
