Toms River police are investigating the death of a homeless woman whose body was found Wednesday near the township’s Walmart store.
The person whose body was found in the wood line on the west side of the property was identified as Mary Tomasuolo, a 56-year-old homeless female, police said.
After the discovery of Tomasuolo’s body, “A subsequent investigation by the Toms River Police Department Detective Bureau and The Ocean County Sheriff’s Department CSI Unit revealed no signs of foul play,” police said.
Their investigation, however, is continuing.
