Toms River police are seeking tips – “even if they seem insignificant,” a spokesman said – as to the location of a missing man who is in need of immediate medical treatment.
Luis Perez, 54, left home on April 3 and has not had contact with any family or friends since, said Ralph Stocco, the township’s police spokesman.
“Luis suffers from several medical conditions and lives with his parents, who are his caretakers, in the North Dover section of town,” said Stocco. “He does not have his cell phone, medication, or identification with him.”
Perez is not operating a motor vehicle, but the police department has asked media in Atlantic City, Philadelphia and New York to circulate his photo.
He is described as standing 5-foot-9 and weighs 95 pounds. Potential tips would be sightings in location that include convenience stores, retail businesses, food establishments, hospitals, bus stops and other public places.
Anyone who may have seen him over the last week or has information on his whereabouts should contact Detective Jennifer Grob at 732-349-0150 extension 1319 or Jgrob@trpolice.org.
