The man who was with a 13-year-old Toms River girl for several days is facing numerous charges after he was allegedly found intoxicated when police pulled him over in Ohio.
Police began looking for Antonella Marino after she left her home Oct. 13. She was thought to be with Jeffery Trautmann, 19, of Jackson.
Jeffery Trautmann’s 2000 Volkswagen was pulled over by officers from the Ohio Highway Patrol after the vehicle and license plate matched a hit in the National Crime Information Center database. The traffic stop, in Richland Township, Ohio, resulted in charges being filed against Traumann for interference with the custody of a child under 18, possession of marijuana, and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. He is being held on bail in the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio pending a court appearance.
The Toms River Police Departments Criminal Investigation Bureau is working in cooperation with the Ohio State Highway Patrol to determine if any additional charges will be filed against Trautmann, police spokesman Ralph Stocco said.
