Temperatures bottomed out at 13 degrees overnight, at the time this article was published at about 3 a.m. Christmas morning. But before the sun set on Christmas Eve, the first day of frozen “tundra” on Barnegat Bay was on a magnificent display.

We were lucky to capture it before our Christmas Eve activities.
