Toms River Motor Vehicle Office Closed Due to Coronavirus Case

The Toms River office of the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission closed Tuesday due to exposure to coronavirus in the location, MVC officials announced.

An employee tested positive for the virus, a statement said. The office will undergo sanitization and is scheduled to reopen Tuesday, January 12, 2021.



According to the MVC’s website, the closest facilities that remain open are Lakewood (1195 Route 70) and the Freehold licensing center (811 Okerson Road). The MVC office in Manahawkin is also closed due to a coronavirus case.
