Chase Bank will appear before the Toms River planning board to propose a new branch on the property of a Lakewood Road shopping center.
The bank branch would be located at 942 Lakewood Road (Route 166) in the Dover Mall shopping center, also known as the Crossroads Mall, according to planning documents filed with the township.
The application will be relatively routine; the only variance requests on the matter include a minor minimum occupancy of space variance (3 percent is proposed due to the size of the overall lot, while 10 percent is required) and a sign variance to allow a sign 1.8 feet set back from Route 166 where 10 feet is required.
